Who this covers
This notice applies to the Almost product at this site: the desk, drop, showcase, account, billing, and waitlist surfaces. Almost is an evidence-bound outbound desk. It binds claims to excerpts you supply before you send.
What we collect
- Account data: email, optional name, password hash (or Google sign-in identifiers when that path is enabled), session cookies, credit balance, and timestamps.
- Pack data you compile: title, tier, status, claims, quotes, source excerpts you paste, and the compiled pack markdown.
- Drop and waitlist: the near-miss text you submit on Drop, and waitlist email if you join.
- Billing metadata: payment provider references, amounts, tier, and fulfilment status. Card details stay with the payment provider.
- Ops logs: coarse counts, statuses, and error codes. Not full source excerpts.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not treat a BOUND quote as proof that a source is true, complete, or lawful.
- We do not claim certification under any regulation from this notice alone.
Why we process it
To run the product you asked for: bind claims, name gaps, store packs you choose to keep, manage credits and purchases, send account mail (reset, receipts when configured), and keep the service secure.
How long we keep it
Account and pack records stay while your account is active. Ops logs are retained for a limited operational window. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove or anonymise personal account data and pack contents we still control, except records we must keep for fraud, security, or accounting.
Your choices
Do not paste secrets you cannot afford to store. You can export pack markdown from the product where that control exists. For access or deletion, email us from the address on your account (or the waitlist address you used) and ask clearly for deletion or a copy of what we hold.
